NEW CLUB RUN REQUIREMENTS
The club committee had a meeting prior to our general meeting on 3rd April those of you attending were told we are introducing a traffic light system of order of cars on runs. Those with a green card classics (30 years and older pre 1995) will follow immediately behind the lead car.
The second group will follow behind all green cards with amber cards with future classics (registered between 1996 to 2005).
The third group will follow behind the amber cards with red cards (all cars registered after 2005) If you do not have a card you will follow the red cards at end of Group.
We do not have an up to date list of all members cars so will be emailing some of you next week for you to confirm your vehicles. If you do not reply you will be placed behind the Red card section regardlessly until confirmed.

APRIL CLUB RUN
Monthly classic car runs As all our members are aware a classic car is over 30 years old as is defined by Govt Decree in Spain. If your car is not in this category and you attend runs of which you are very welcome the vehicle must be driven behind all actual classics as noted above when travelling on the highway. It is your responsibility to ensure this happens as a club member or guest for the day. There are no exceptions to this requirement

Lunch will be Menu del Dia, to include one drink, at a cost of 19.50€, including a tip which will be collected at Ballabona. Additional drinks to be paid for at the bar when ordering them. A menu will be sent out nearer the time for you to make choices.
Hazel and myself are staying over in the Hotel to take in some sightseeing the next day. If any others wish to join us let us know.

Le Mans Classic /3-6 July
Every two years this event is celebrated impressively, alternating with the Monaco Grand Prix Historique. In the last edition, in 2023, more than 700 racing cars participated and more than 8,000 classic cars attended. The Le Mans Classic is four days that is a real review of the history of the world’s most famous race, in which drivers of all time also participate.
Goodwood Festival of Speed /10-13 July
The former World War II airfield becomes a kind of meeting point between the past and present of the competition car. At the Goodwood Festival of Speed you can enjoy exhibitions and racing of historic and current cars, with the participation of retired drivers and those who are active, who make this celebration a real tribute to the sport of the car and its protagonists.

Goodwood revival /12-14 September
If there’s an event that really transports its participants to the past that’s the Goodwood Revival. The strict dress code of all attendees, which must conform to the fashion of the time, the setting and the activities that are celebrated, make the classic cars really the protagonists and everything turns around them. A unique event that turns the historical circuit almost into a film set on which everyone travels in time. In addition, all the races held are contested with sustainable fuel.
Chantilly Arts & Elegance /19-21 September
This event is gaining prestige and renown year after year. The place where it is held, the stunning castle of Chantilly, about 50 km north of Paris, is truly impressive and in addition to the classics, the protagonists are the designers and artists who make the car the protagonist of his works. A different meeting for another way to enjoy the classic and modern car.

Zoute Grand-Prix /9-12 October
This elite tourist resort, on the Belgian beach, hosts one of the most impressive events dedicated to the classics, with the regular rally as a main event. The entire seafront of Zoute, a village where its traditional architecture has been preserved to the fullest and which is a luxury destination, becomes a kind of car lounge of luxury brands, with impressive stands. The rally runs through some of Belgium’s most beautiful places.
